The Protector Pro Concealed Carry course is designed for responsible citizens who want to take their training to the next level and legally carry a firearm for personal and home protection. This comprehensive, hands-on class builds upon the fundamentals of safe firearm use and introduces the essential knowledge, mindset, and legal understanding required for carrying a concealed handgun.

By the end of this course, successful participants will be eligible to apply for their Kentucky Concealed Carry Deadly Weapons (CCDW) license.

• Developing a Personal and Home Protection Plan: Learn how to assess risk, build strong defensive strategies, and prepare your household for real-life scenarios.
• Self-Defense Firearms Basics: Review and refine your understanding of handgun safety, operation, and selection with a focus on defensive application.
• Defensive Shooting Fundamentals: Improve grip, stance, and accuracy while developing techniques under stress and realistic conditions.
• The Legal Use of Force: Understand when and how the use of force is legally justified, and how to avoid the consequences of a poor decision in a high-stress moment.
• Kentucky Law Review: A detailed overview of Kentucky Revised Statutes related to concealed carry, self-defense, and your rights and responsibilities as a permit holder.
• Violent Encounters and Their Aftermath: Prepare mentally, emotionally, and legally for what happens during and after a self-defense encounter—including dealing with law enforcement and protecting your rights.
• Live-Fire Qualification: Apply your training on the range with live-fire drills designed to evaluate your readiness and meet the state licensing requirement.
